Story	It is the first film with a sound track in Malayalam. The film directed by S Nottani and produced by T R Sunderam, a tamil. The film was a melodramatic film with more influence from Tamil film. The film featured struggle of two orphaned children, Balan and his younger sister. They were oppressed and exploited by their stepmother until they are rescued by a lawyer.
